ADVERSE WEATHER Communication Plan
If a church service or event needs to be cancelled because of weather conditions, please check the church website www.fumcw.com, FaceBook page “First United Methodist Church Washington” or call the church office phone 252-946-3311 (the message will be updated). WITN-TV will also be given announcements.
If the cancellation is determined during a workday an email will be sent to our church member contact list of the change in schedule. If a member would like their name added to the church contact email list, please contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 946-3311.
